Let's get to the Hill´s in Werfen - and sing!
This „Melody Tour“ for the passionate fans of the film "The Sound of Music" might make your dream come true. We'll visit the southern part of the Salzburg province and The Hill of Werfen (it has now since 2015 been made accessible to the public, due to the 50 year Sound of Music anniversary), where you may remember Maria went for a picnic with the children and sung “Do-Re-Mi“!
In addition to the breathtaking all-around panorama view of the mountains, which looks similar to the opening scene where Maria sung "The Hills Are Alive", you'll also have a great view on the Castle Werfen from the Middle Ages.
We'll further visit the eastern part of Salzburg province, the famous Salzkammergut (lake district), where we will visit Lake Mondsee with the Wedding Church, and see other beautiful lakes. In this tour you will be able to enjoy most of the shooting-locations Salzburg can ever offer outside the City Center (for Mirabell & the Old Town see tour A1).
And as you will probably get hungry during the tour, Melody Tours&Travel can organize for us to have either a picnic lunch on the hill, or to eat at a nearby restaurant!

You will see from a distance the mountain „Schafberg“ where Maria and the children went up by a funicular. It is the most popular lake of Salzkammergut.
